Jockey Ryan Moore believes that Epsom Derby third Los Angeles has every chance of stepping up two places in the Irish equivalent at the Curragh on Sunday.

Speaking on RTE Morning Ireland, Moore said: He was a Group 1 winning two-year-old, won his trial nicely at Leopardstown and he ran a super race in the Derby.

"I think the Curragh will suit him well. He has done very little wrong in his career. Obviously he has got to try and turn the form around with Ambiente Friendly who was a good runner-up in the Derby.

We have a few lengths to find but hopefully he is still open to improvement and we'd like to think he can find a little bit more returning to the Curragh, perhaps."
