Joseph O'Brien sends Rogue Millennium into battle in the Group 1 Prix Rothschild at Deauville today after a recent third in the Falmouth at Newmarket.

The Dubawi filly was a Group 2 winner at Royal Ascot last year and was runner-up at the highest level in the Matron at Leopardstown during Irish Champions Weekend in September.

O'Brien said of Mickael Barzalona's mount: "Hopefully she goes well, she has trained well since Newmarket.

“We're coming back a bit quick, but she seems in really good shape so we're letting her take her chance.

“We also have Uluru in a Group 3. She should go well - it's a small field and it would be great if she got some black-type.”

Willie McCreery's Ocean Jewel also contests the €300,000 Prix Rothschild with Billy Lee in the plate.
