The three-mile handicap chase had a dramatic conclusion with 16/1 chance Outside The Door getting up close home to complete a double for Padraig Roche and Aidan Kelly.
Seemingly held in third after the second-last as Menindee was making the best of her way home, the seven-year-old was left second when that leader fell at the last and overhauled The Eye Of Tulla in the dying strides to claim an unlikely half-length victory.
The winner was also left in front by a last-fence faller when gaining his only previous win over fences at Wexford last year.
“The horse that fell at the last was probably unlucky and I'd say we just picked up the pieces of a bad race. It's great he won anyway,” said Roche who landed the opener with the Kelly-ridden Something Abouther
“He got badly hurt in Listowel and we gave him a good while off. His confidence took a knock but Limerick probably did him the world of good and he came forward from there.
“He'll stay on the go, he's a summer horse.”
