Ruby Walsh is set to return to racecourse action at Down Royal on Friday.
The jockey, who injured his right wrist in a fall at Cork last month, will ride Tuesday in the maiden hurdle and Tryphaena in the feature SERE Hurdle.
But his plum ride will be on Saturday when he gets his first chance to ride Florida Pearl in public in the James Nicholson Wine Merchant Champion Chase.
Walsh, who missed five months of last season with a broken leg before winning the Martell Grand National on Papillon for his father Ted, said: 'It just shows the ups and downs of racing.
'I rode Florida Pearl at Willie Mullins` stable yesterday, he won`t mind if the ground is soft.
'It was soft when he won the Hennessy Gold Cup at Leopardstown.'
Walsh could potentially have an embarrassment of riches in the Cheltenham Gold Cup next March through Florida Pearl and stablemate Alexander Banquet along with his father`s Rince Ri and Commanche Court.
But Walsh would not drawn on which he would prefer.
'I`d be delighted to be on any of them,' he said
