Elbader, unfortunate to come up against the impressive Siringas last time, got off the mark at the sixth attempt when successful in the European Breeders Fund Maiden at Roscommon yesterday.
Trounced 13 lengths at Gowran Park, Elbader paid Jim Bolger's filly a compliment of sorts when beating Turtleback by three lengths under Pat Smullen, with Turtle Dancer, the 7 to 4 favourite, only fourth.
