Legal Right`s injury jinx has struck again and Jonjo O`Neill`s chaser will miss the Thomas Pink Gold Cup at Cheltenham on Saturday.
The seven-year-old is notoriously fragile and has proved difficult to keep sound.
He was one of last season`s most-improved performers but his campaign was cut short through lameness and he was not seen out again after slamming Nordance Prince by 22 lengths in the Tripleprint Gold Cup 11 months ago.
'Legal Right doesn`t run on Saturday - it`s the same old problem,' O`Neill said today. 'He was lame this morning and it could be three days or three weeks before he`s right and so we don`t know where he`ll be running next.'
Legal Right was a best-priced 10-1 chance with Stanley for the Thomas Pink Gold Cup.
