Last Resort, winner of the Challenge Stakes at Newmarket in October, is a last-minute entry for the Hong Kong Mile at Sha Tin on Sunday week.
The Barry Hills-trained filly comfortably defeated Maidaan by two and a half lengths in the seven-furlong Group Two contest at Headquarters to earn an invitation to the Hong Kong International meeting.
A spokesman for the Hong Kong Jockey Club this morning confirmed: 'Last Resort has been chosen to go for the Hong Kong Mile.'
Last Resort will be joining Nigel Tinkler`s Sugarfoot in the line-up for the prestigious contest.
