Southwell's all-weather meeting this afternoon is subject to a precautionary inspection at 1.30pm.
A course spokesman said: "There has been a third of an inch of rain in the last 20 minutes.
"They are just checking the course now and the going is slow."
The first race is due off at 2.10pm.
