European horses are fancied to sweep the board in Sunday`s Canadian International at Woodbine in Toronto.
Johnny Murtagh`s mount Daliapour was made 2-1 favourite by local odds-makers to give Sir Michael Stoute a second win in the Grade One event after being placed in stall 11 for the mile-and-half-race in Thursday`s draw.
Godolphin`s Mutafaweq, whom Frankie Dettori will partner from stall five is next best at 3-1, with German horse Caitano (Andrasch Starke) rated a 9-2 chance in box seven for the turf race.
And Mark Johnston`s Murghem (Darryll Holland) is 10-1 joint fourth favourite coming out of stall two in a field of 12 for the sixth race in the Emirates World Series.
Victory for Coronation Cup winner Daliapour would take him to the top of the world series table after making the frame in previous legs at Ascot and Baden-Baden.
Stoute`s travelling head lad Jimmy Scott hopes for a bold showing and said: 'This horse has settled in well. He`s a versatile horse, well balanced. He`ll have no trouble with the track. I think he`ll run a big race.'
Godolphin fear the going may be too soft for Mutafaweq, who worked over six furlongs on Thursday.
Head lad Tony Howarth said: 'Soft turf is not his favourite going. The faster the track the better he`ll like it.'
Mark Johnston is hoping for a change of luck, having seen Fruits Of Love finish an unlucky-in-running second when 9-5 favourite for this race 12 months ago and been forced to rule that horse out of a return trip due to a setback.
But he admits Murghem has his work cut out on Sunday, despite five victories in lesser company this year.
'He`s going to have to run right up to his best or better,' the trainer said. 'He`s had an excellent season and he`s shown huge amounts of improvement but he`s going to have to show more.'
Main hope of a North American win appears to lie with ex-French Lycitus, whose jockey Gary Stevens is bidding for the first big win of his comeback.
Stevens rode the last two British winners of this Grade One event, Royal Anthem in 1998 and Stoute`s Singspiel two years previously.
