Queen Mother next up for Sizing Granite Colm Murphy is looking forward to saddling Sizing Granite in the Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase at Cheltenham next month. The County Wexford handler sent out Big Zeb to win the two-mile showpiece in 2010 and to a second place the following year behind Sizing Europe, who wore the colours of Sizing Granite's owners Ann and Alan Potts. Sizing Granite has yet to run for Murphy since being switched from Henry de Bromhead's stable following a below-par effort at Leopardstown over Christmas. However, Murphy reports the eight-year-old, who lifted the Grade One Maghull Novices' Chase at Aintree last spring, to have settled into his new surroundings really well. "He seems well and seems a really nice horse. I'd imagine he'll probably go straight to Cheltenham. It's all systems go," Murphy told At The Races. "I'd imagine he'll go to Leopardstown (for a racecourse gallop). He seems to go well fresh, so we won't be doing a whole lot with him. "He's just been ticking over and he's done well so far." Sizing Granite is available at around 33-1 for the Champion Chase on March 16th.
