QUINN GIVES UP YORK RIDES

Richard Quinn will miss his rides at York today after feeling unwell this morning.

However, the jockey, who had eight mounts booked on the Knavesmire, should return to action at Bath tomorrow.

His agent Robert Parsons explained: 'He got up this morning and didn`t feel too well so he thought it was best to take the day off.

'He`s OK, he`ll ride tomorrow, he just didn`t feel he could do justice to the horses that he was going to ride today.'

Quinn is lying third behind Kevin Darley and Pat Eddery in the race for the jockeys` title.
