QUICK RETURN FOR CHAMPION

Tony McCoy was today given a clean bill of health after a crashing fall at Worcester.

The champion jump jockey was revealed to have suffered no worse than bruising in a tumble from novice chaser Lurgoe on Saturday, and he will be back in action on Tuesday.

'It was a nasty fall but he is OK, just a bit battered and bruised,' said McCoy's agent Dave Roberts.

'It is only an amateur riders' meeting at Towcester tomorrow so he will be back at Hereford on Tuesday.'
