The Dave Marnane trained Premier Rouge ran out a 2 ? length victory of The O'Keeffe, O'Shea, O'Connor Solicitors Handicap under Colm O'Donoghue for owners Ann Long-Doyle and Nuala Harron.
Winning trainer Marnane said afterwards, "That was great, he has always been a good horse he had a bad tendon injury 3 seasons ago and he's only just back to himself now. We will keep him on flat campaign for the time being before we consider going back over hurdles. The owners have shown great patience to keep the faith in this horse."
