Pineapple Express rocketed home down the outside to mug Miss Myers in the 10 furlong fillies' handicap at Roscommon.
She was niggled along in last of the 13 runners approaching the final three furlongs and still had plenty on her plate at the two pole.
Jockey Andrew Slattery soon switched her to the outside and she was ridden a furlong and a half down.
The daughter of Ruler Of The World really found her stride in the final furlong to surge past Miss Myers in the final 50 yards to win by a length and a half at 11/1.
Runner-up Miss Myers and third-placed Celtic Crown were also 11/1 shots.
Trainer Andrew Slattery said: “She's improving, more than I thought, because I thought the handicapper was very hard on her giving her 20lb.
“She was up in class today and she's done it well. She's going the right way.
“She has to be ridden like that and he (Andrew Slattery jnr) rides her well. He's got the key to her and I don't give him any instructions as he knows her.
“That's a nice prize and we aimed her for this race after the last day.
“We'll have a look again now and see, we'll take our time. We could maybe look at one of those good handicaps in Galway.
“She likes coming late and gets a turn of foot out of somewhere. She was nearly last turning in there today.
“They didn't go a great gallop early on but mid-race they quickened it up.”
