Peace reigns in Lenebane Quest For Peace stormed home to land the featured Lenebane Stakes at Roscommon tonight. Colm O'Donoghue got a good tune from the son of Galileo in the closing stages to claim the Listed event. Haziyna had kicked for home with under two furlongs to run in the mile-and-a-half contest but couldn't hold the late charge. The Ballydoyle runner started to really motor inside the final furlong and got on top in the final 100 yards for a length-and-a-quarter success. The winner had opened his account in good style at Leopardstown back in April and handled the step up in class well. "He's still a baby and will improved again," said O'Donoghue afterwards. "He should continue to come on throughout the year." There was a sting in the tail for O'Donoghue, who picked up a two-day ban for careless riding. He was found to have caused interference to stable-mate Why on the bend just past the stands. Nial McCullagh, rider of the runner-up, was cautioned having drifted right when taking it up and causing interference to Banksters Bonus and Unity.
