Dermot Weld rounded off a fantastic four-timer at Galway today when his Parlour ran out the two lengths winner of the Caulfieldindustrial.com EBF Maiden, providing his stable jockey Pat Smullen with the second leg of a double.
Parlour, a daughter of Dansili, chased the leaders before progressing to lead entering the straight, eventually staying on best for a two lengths win over Purple Land
Afterwards Weld stated “that win rounded off the day well! Parlour is an immature filly and is a bit weak and backward but she may be capable of gaining blacktype later in the year.”
