Punchestown`s meeting on Thursday October 19th has been cancelled, the Turf Club announced today.
Monday`s meeting at the course was abandoned after the first race and the track has been deemed unfit for racing as a result of remedial drainage work during the summer.
One of Monday`s abandoned races, the European Breeders Fund Fillies` Maiden, has been transferred to the Curragh`s card this Sunday.
An additional Flat fixture will take place at Dundalk on Thursday October 19th while an additional jumps card will be staged at Fairyhouse the following day.
