Trainer Kevin Prendergast was cleared of any wrongdoing by the Irish Turf Club in a hearing today after a prohibited substance was found in a urine sample given by Taisho after her run at Leopardstown last May.
The appeals and referrals committee found that the substance - Estrane Diol - had been administered unknowingly and that the trainer had taken all reasonable precautions.
They agreed to waive a fine.
