PLANS MADE FOR BRITISH RAID ON JAPAN

Six European horses have so far accepted invitations for the Japan Cup in Tokyo on Sunday November 26th.

They are headed by Arc runner-up Volvoreta, one of two French-trained possibles along with Reve d`Oscar.

The British-based hopefuls include King George runner-up Daliapour, who could give the Kalanisi team of owner the Aga Khan, trainer Sir Michael Stoute and jockey Johnny Murtagh further big-race glory.

Fruits Of Love, unplaced behind Kalanisi in Saturday`s Breeders` Cup Turf, Godolphin`s Fantastic Light and dual Group One winner Golden Snake makeup the British team.

Giant`s Causeway is one of two European horses selected for the Japan Cup Dirt on November 25th.

However, connections of the Breeders` Cup Classic runner-up, along with the Dermot Weld-trained Pine Dance have yet to accept their invitations.
