Martin Pipe aims to smash one of his own records at Ludlow tomorrow.
He saddles three runners in a bid for the one winner he needs to complete 200 winners for the season.
If successful, it would beat the nine-time champion's previous best by no less than 69 days.
The quickest that the landmark has been reached in the past was May 2nd, in 1990/1 - the third of Pipe's six previous 200-winner seasons.
The West country phenomenon, the only trainer ever to reach 200, went on to reach a record 230 winners that season and is clearly on course to set an astronomical final total this term.
Select Star sets the ball rolling for Pipe in tomorrow's opening Oak Novices' Claiming Hurdle.
Then Vent d'Aout bids to end a run of three consecutive second places in the Elm Novices' Chase.
And finally Westfield Cockney bids to bounce back from a poor effort last time out in the Ash 'National Hunt' Novices' Hurdle.
All three will be ridden by Tony McCoy, who completed his own record-fastest 200 winners last Friday.
