Martin Pipe is responsible for six of the 29 entries revealed today for the £33,000 Sunderlands Imperial Cup at Sandown Park on Saturday.
A £50,000 bonus is available should the winner of this prestigious hurdle go on to win a race at next week's Cheltenham Festival, a feat achieved by Pipe with Olympian in 1993 and Blowing Wind in 1998.
The Nicholashayne trainer's team includes Copeland and Hit And Run, second and third behind Geos in the Tote Gold Trophy at Newbury last month.
Pipe also has Agfa Hurdle winner Auetaler in the field, along with promising novices Exit Swinger and Seebald.
His squad is made up by Dr Jazz, third to Regency Rake in this race last year, the only member of the sextet without a Cheltenham entry.
Last season's runner-up Coulthard could bid to go one better, while Regency Rake's trainer Arthur Moore could be represented by The Gatherer, one of two Irish entries along with Brigade Charge.
Other interesting runners include Minivet, winner of four of his last five starts for Tim Easterby, and Redemption, who inflicted Minivet's sole defeat in that spell at Wetherby, who may bid to follow up Carlito Brigante's success in 1997 for trainer Paul Webber.
