PEGASUS ON PREAKNESS TRAIL

Kentucky Derby hero Fusaichi Pegasus looked on good terms with himself on Monday as he prepared for Saturday's Preakness Stakes at Pimlico, the second leg of the American triple crown.

The Mr Prospector colt worked five furlongs in 59 secs at Churchill Downs.

Trainer Neil Drysdale said: "He went a bit quick but that's all right. I'm not big into times. I think it was about a minute. He's doing well."

Fusaichi Pegasus is expected to leave Kentucky for Pimlico tomorrow.
