Twice top of the tree in the apprentices ranks and a Classic winning rider, Oisin Orr is currently plying his trade in Dubai in what will be "good experience for him," according to agent Kevin O'Ryan.

Donegal's Orr was champion apprentice in 2017 and he shared the honours in 2019 with Andrew Slattery.

The former pony racer made the breakthrough at the top level aboard Search For A Song in the Leger at the Curragh in September and plans to spend a month in Dubai.

“Oisin went out to Dubai last weekend for a month and is going to ride work for Charlie Appleby and hopefully pick up a few rides," said O'Ryan.

The Kildare agent also had news on another of his jockeys.

He revealed: “Nathan Crosse is also out there and is doing very well. He’s with Satish Seemar and had a good few rides last weekend and rode a few winners.”
