O'Brien and Crosse land doubles with Lovee Dovee Lovee Dovee was a comfortable winner of the fillies' maiden in the Curragh and gave Joseph O'Brien and Shane Crosse doubles on the card. The 5/1 chance was never far from the pace and tanked into contention a furlong and a half down. She was still on the bridle as she hit the front approaching the final furlong and was merely pushed out to win by two and three quarter lengths. Simply A Breeze picked up a runner-up prize at 25/1. She was a length and a quarter ahead of well-backed Sheranda (11/4 - 2/1). Joseph O’Brien said: “She was very keen in her early days and we spent a lot of time teaching her to relax, and her last two runs she’s relaxed very well. “Shane rode her with loads of confidence and she won well. It’s fantastic to win a maiden with a Galileo filly bred like her and she’s earned the chance to get black type now. “There is a Listed fillies' race over a mile in Naas that she could go for. She’s a good traveller and could even drop back in trip. “She’s not a big filly and I always thought she wanted top of the ground but she seemed to handle a bit of juice there.” O'Brien and Crosse earlier teamed up with Speak In Colours in the Group 3 Renaissance Stakes.
