Promising claimer Keith O'Donoghue was seen to good effect when getting Blazing Tempo home in the mares' handicap hurdle at Leopardstown.
Willie Austin 's charge fought it out with Cool Quest from before the last and just got the better of that rival in the closing stages to score by half a length.
"We have no plans but she'll stick to novice company for the rest of the year," said Austin.
"The ground is not too bad but she loves better ground. Keith is a good claimer and well able to ride."
