O'DWYER BAN CUT

Conor O'Dwyer has had an eight-day suspension reduced by the Turf Club today but the rider will still miss the Martell Grand National at Aintree a week on Saturday.

O'Dwyer received the original ban for 'failing to obtain the best possible placing' aboard the Arthur Moore-trained Hot Shots in the Loughlins Pub Novice Hurdle at Gowran Park on March 18.

Having heard evidence from O'Dwyer and Moore, and having viewed a video of the race, the Appeals and Referrals Committee reduced the suspension to five racedays, March 30, April 1-2, 8 and 13.
