Johnny Murtagh and Aidan O’Brien recorded a quick double when they landed the Navan Golf Captain Nursery Handicap with 6/1 shot Purple Heart
Murtagh hit the front on the Sadler’s Wells colt from over two furlongs out and kept on well to hold off the fast finishing Captains Dilemma by three parts of a length.
Murtagh is now one in front of Smullen in the Jockey’s Championship.
