Following 32mm of rain overnight, the ground at Ballinrobe was soft, heavy in places this morning, but it has since dried out slightly, with the going now yielding to soft, soft in places.
As a result, there is a whole host of non-runners throughout the card, with just five from an original field of nine still remaining in the Burleigh Accountancy Handicap Hurdle.
Early favourite Game Phoenix is out of the opening C.J Sheeran Ltd 3yo Maiden Hurdle, while leading hopes Stormalong and Baltinglass Hill have both been taken out of the Cummins Homevalue Hardware Handicap Hurdle.
