Paul Nolan's Noble Prince displayed more than a hint of ability when winning the Tipper Road Hurdle at Naas today, under Alain Cawley, in taking style.
The son of Montjeu was held up in rear for much of the trip but cruised to the front at the final flight, staying on strongly for an easy three and a half lengths win over Time Electric
Afterwards Nolan reported “I'm delighted with him and he proved today he handles any type of ground. I started him off too quickly over hurdles last season after gelding him but he is a much stronger horse now.”
The Wexford trainer added “we will now aim him at the better staying races – he looks a very good horse, as his high Flat mark would suggest, and has taken well to hurdling.”
