Following a 7.30am inspection, this afternoons meeting scheduled for Navan has been cancelled.
There was overnight frost with snow remaining on the track.
With Met Eireann forecasting the possibility of freezing rain turning to sleet and temperatures to only rise by 2-3 degrees by midday, officials had no option but to abandon.
