Our Nana Rose was given a fine waiting ride by Danny Mullins to land the Demense Handicap at Clonmel.
Settled in rear the mare came with a strong run in the final furlong to score by a length from Flashy Dancer.
"It was nerve wracking to watch. I was worried she wouldn't handle the track as she likes to take her time," said trainer Pat Martin.
"The chap on board gets on well with her and the secret is giving her a bit of daylight.
"That's her job done for the year. She stays well and likes the ground. I wish I had more that went on it."
