Darragh O'Sullivan further enhanced his growing reputation when delivering Bear Profit from off the pace to win the TRM - From Ireland To The World Apprentice Handicap at Naas.

In a race where Lust and Bizarre Dreams went off at a breakneck speed, young O'Sullivan was content to sit off the lead in fifth early on.

Closing into 3rd early in the straight, Bear Profit went 2nd in pursuit of Lust over two furlongs out.

Sent into the lead travelling easily soon after, O'Sullivan kept his mount up to the job to win by three-quarters-of-a-length from the closing Nunc Est Bibendum

Winning trainer Ger O’Leary said: “The jockey excelled. The two in front set a nice target and he was able to pick them off.

“He was in great form coming into it and we left the cheekpieces off because he was flying at home.

“He’s on 69 (rating today) and I presume we’ll look for a 0-75 before the end of the year if we can.”
