NO TIUTCHEV AT SANDOWN

Tiutchev misses the Weatherbys Scilly Isles Novices' Chase at Sandown tomorrow after a minor setback forced connections to revise running arrangements for the seven-year-old.

Tiutchev could now head for the Michael Page International Novices' Chase at Warwick a fortnight tomorrow.

"We've had a change of plan," the gelding's trainer Nicky Henderson said today.

"He had a trachea wash yesterday and it wasn't quite 100 per cent so he'll go to Warwick instead. It was always the plan to go to Warwick, the Sandown race was a last-minute thing.

"The horse is fine - in very good form - and we'll see how he goes."

A field of six was declared for tomorrow's Grade One contest, headed by recent winners Norski Lad and Good Vibes.

The other runners are Josh Gifford's Skycab, 1998 Triumph Hurdle winner Upgrade, the Henry Daly-trained Young Spartacus and the mare Mothers Help.
