NO DUBAI ANTHEM

Royal Anthem will miss his planned showdown with High-Rise in next month's Dubai Sheema Classic at Nad Al Sheba due to a setback.

Thoroughbred Corporation spokesman Richard Mulhall said: "Royal Anthem is to take a short break from training.

"We had no choice but to make the decision in the long-term interests of the horse."

Last year's Juddmonte International winner - now with Bill Mott in the USA - had been set to head to Dubai after gaining his first win of the season in the Gulfstream Park Breeders' Cup Handicap early this month.
