A final decision has yet to be reached by the 'Super 12' racecourses on which bid they will consider for the right to broadcast Britain's top races.
Representatives from the 12 racecourses, which include Aintree, Ascot, Cheltenham and Newmarket met in London on Monday to discuss their options.
Sue Ellen, managing director of United Racecourses who own Epsom, Kempton and Sandown, said: 'I think you'll probably find that we've all agreed to make no comment at the moment.
'We met today, we've got a few more things to sort out and we'll make an announcement as soon as we're ready.'
Channel 4 and Sky have both made bids to broadcast racing from Britain's top racecourses, with Sky's bid believed to involve the BBC.
