NINETEEN STAND GROUND IN TRIPLEPRINT

Fadalko and Upgrade head the 19 horses confirmed today for Saturday`s #80,000 Tripleprint Gold Cup at Cheltenham.

The weights for the Grade Three contest will rise 16lb following the defection of See More Business, Florida Pearl and Tiutchev, with Fadalko and Upgrade set to carry 11st 10lb.

Sure to be among the leading fancies for the race is the Martin Pipe-trained Exit Swinger, second to stablemate Lady Cricket in the Thomas Pink Gold Cup last time, although the five-year-old remains 2lb of the handicap proper.

Along with Upgrade Pipe also has Blowing Wind in the race.

Ireland has a notably strong representation with a total of five possibles, having not captured this prize since Tom Dreaper`s Leap Frog scored in 1971.

Arthur Moore is responsible for three of them headed by the highly-rated Native Upmanship, an easy winner at Navan last time.

Lyreen Wonder and More Than A Stroll are Moore`s other entries, while Hill Society (Noel Meade) and Go Roger Go (Edward O`Grady) make up the Irish quintet.

Other notable possibles include the Venetia Williams-trained Samakaan, winner of the Grand Annual Chase at the Cheltenham Festival in March.
