NECKLACE STILL MOYGLARE FAV AND ALAMSHAR HEADS CHAMPION MARKET

Necklace remains the 7/4 favourite with Cashmans for the Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday after 13 were left in at the latest acceptance stage.

The Aidan O’Brien-trained filly is chiefly opposed in the market by the supplemented River Belle at 5/2, while the Cork firm report some support for Misty Heights at 8/1 (from 10’s).

7/4 Necklace, 5/2 River Belle, 7/1 Maroochydore, 8/1 Misty Heights, Menhoubah, Soviet Belle, 10 Takrice, 18 Moon Unit, 20 Bar.

Alamshar is all the rage with Cashmans for the Irish Champion Stakes, and their initial offer of 11/8 is now reduced to 11/10. High Chaparral has taken a walk in the market from 7/4 out to 3/1 following the news that Falbrav is a likely runner in the Leopardstown show-piece.

Cashmans bet: 11/10 Alamshar, 3/1 High Chaparral, 7/2 Falbrav, 10 Ikhtyar, Vintage Tipple, 14 Moon Ballad.
