Trainers Paddy Mullins and Pat Hughes and jockey Barry Geraghty all recorded doubles at yesterday's well-attended Natonal Hunt fixture at Navan.
Cregg House was first to hit the target for veteran handler Mullins when swooping late in the opening Ladbrokes Novice Hurdle under an ultra-confident Mark Madden ride.
The brace was completed when Vanilla Man (Geraghty) took full advantage of hot favourite Bob Justice's tumble at halfway to claim the College Proteins Novice Chase.
Geraghty had earlier scored on strapping six year-old Sum Leader in the Navan Shopping Centre Handicap Hurdle, Gerry Keane's gelding holding off a succession of challenges after going on entering the straight.
Keane views his charge as an exciting chasing prospect, but will wait until later in the year before unleashing him over the larger obstacles. The Galway Festival at the end of next month could be his next target.
Hughes' pair came courtesy of impressive bumper winner Bansha Hero, who only became eligible to run after being disqualified from an April maiden hurdle win at Listowel, and College Proteins Handicap Hurdle Pollster.
The latter was a lucky spare ride for Gary Hutchinson, after Stephen Curtis forfeited the mount due to feeling unwell.
