Paul Carberry's return to action came to a premature end at Navan on Friday night when he suffered a fall from Athlumney Lad in the first race.
The Noel Meade-trained gelding crashed out at the third last in the Ladbrokes Country & Western BBQ Evening Hurdle and Carberry was sent to hospital for precautionary x-rays.
The rider later declared himself 'okay' and said that he hoped to be back in action at Fairyhouse on Sunday. Carberry was having his first ride since suffering an ankle injury at the Punchestown festival in April.
The race itself produced a terrific finish with Red Square Lady showing great resolution to get the better of Chicago Vic by half a length.
Andrew McNamara set a stiff pace on the front-runner and she looked in trouble when headed by Chicago Vic after the third last.
The Michael Phillips-trained mare refused to back down, however, regaining the advantage after the last and stayed on doggedly to the line.
'That was just reward for her. She fell three out in this last year when travelling very easily and was unlucky (on the Flat) at Ballinrobe last time,' said Phillips.
'There are very few hurdles for her at the minute and we'll look at the Betdaq Hurdle at Tipperary (July 23rd), which she was second in last year, while the Galway Hurdle is also a possibility.'
Manjoe has the Galway Plate as his target following an easy 25-length success in the Country Gold Chase.
Barry Geraghty was keen to get to the front early and had the measure of Foreign Seas when he fell two out, leaving David Wachman's charge to come home at his leisure.
Denis O'Regan, taking over from Carberry, limped in after the fall from Foreign Seas but was none the worse as he promptly partnered Truly Gold to an impressive success in the following contest.
Robbie Burns' gelding cruised to the lead before the second last in the Meath Farm Machinery Colt 45 Handicap Hurdle, and quickened away smartly to score by an easy 10 lengths.
O'Regan again took over from Carberry on More Rainbows in the concluding Generali Novice Chase and completed a double when the 11/10f held on by three-quarters-of-a-length from the late renewed challenge of front-runner Pharviva.
On The Other Hand finished from the clouds in the Keeping It Country Handicap Chase to get up close home and beat Mullaghea Boy by a length-and-a-half.
Shane Donohoe revealed that Moscott is a bit hot to handle but she proved resolute in the finish to cause a 20/1 shock in the Peter O'Brien Landscapes Mares Handicap Hurdle.
