Johnny Murtagh and David Wachman notched a quick double when Warning Flag ran out a game winner of the Listed Star Appeal Stakes at Dundalk.
The son of War Front took them along and responded well when challenged by Tell The Wind at the two furlong marker. Park Avenue joined the pair over a furlong out. The 2/1 favourite asserted inside the final furlong, however, going on to beat that rival by a length-and-a-quarter.
"He found plenty when the other horses came to him," said Wachman by phone afterwards.
"He's progressing nicely and should be quite a nice horse next year from a mile to ten furlongs. I'd imagine that will be him for the season."
