Co Westmeath trainer Adrian Murray saddled 11/10 joint favourite Cass Bligh to land the Great Oak Maiden Hurdle in great style.
Davy Russell produced the gelding to lead at the second last flight and he stayed on strongly to score by six lengths from 11/10 joint favourite Better Times
Murray stated afterwards: "He did it well. We have given him plenty of time as he's a weak horse and the owners have been very patient."
"He's a brilliant jumper and he'll make a lovely chaser in time. I'm not sure where we'll go next but we won't be rushing him anyway."
