Colm Murphy's Impervious is back in training after a joint injury saw her miss the whole of last season.

Unbeaten in five starts since switching to fences, the JP McManus-owned eight-year-old won at both the Cheltenham and Punchestown festivals before her setback in September of last year.

Speaking at Tramore last week, Murphy reported: "She is back and fingers crossed she'll stay sound. She was late back and I'm not sure where we will go with her, but I'm sure the lads will have a plan.

Murphy also gave an update on McManus homebred Lovely Hurling, a bumper winner at Wexford in May.

"It's the same story with Lovely Hurling but I'd imagine he'll go over hurdles now."
