The Willie Mullins trained Passage Vendome under Patrick Mullins, got up late on to land a gamble (4/1 - 9/4) in the concluding Harney’s Of Dunhill Bumper at Tramore this evening
The son of Polish Summer, with two ‘duck eggs’ to his name having disappointing twice previously, moved to challenge in the straight and quickened well inside the final furlong, eventually heading Warwickshire close home.
Afterwards Mullins Snr stated “Patrick is getting back to full fitness again from his holiday and it was a good strong ride to push him out to the line - it’s his third winner since coming back.”
“Passage Vendome has been disappointing in his two runs so far as he has been showing plenty at home. We’ve no immediate plans from here but he’ll probably go jumping.”
