Mullins doubles-up with impressive newcomer Glowing Account impressively dismissed his seven-rivals in the concluding Kerry Group (Pro/Am) INH Flat Race, completing a double on the card for Willie Mullins. Making his debut at the age of six, the Ballylinch Stud-owned bay was available at 8/11 in early shows, eventually going off the clear favourite at 2/5. Settled in second by Patrick Mullins, the son of Le Havre eased to the front with less than two-furlongs to race and never came off the bridle, with five-lengths the margin of victory. The John Ryan-trained Huntsgrove (11/1) kept on nicely to take second under Harry Swan, while Fast Felix (16/1) was a short head away in third. "This is his third stint in our yard. He has been very fragile," the winning rider explained. "He has huge ability and I'd say he was only three-quarters ready there, as we haven't been able to train him hard. "I was very conscious not to get him off the bridle and to keep him in one piece. "I'd imagine we might go for a winners' bumper as jumping hurdles might be harder on him at the moment. He'll also have more than enough speed to go on the flat at some stage." Willie Mullins was earlier on the mark with Uncle Phil, but on an afternoon of mixed fortunes, he was out of luck with Saint Sam (2/5f) and Space Tourist (30/100f).
