The ever consistent Mountain Coral made it a hat-trick of wins when coming home in front of The 80's Night At Navan Racecourse Handicap under Niall McCullagh for owner and trainer Frank Oakes.
Oakes said afterwards, "What can I say! He just keeps improving all of the time. We decided to step him in class and he handled it well. We were hoping 5f would be his optimum trip that bringing him back a furlong made him stronger. The first time we ran him was in Sligo on soft ground and he just didn't handle it. We will either go for the Scurry's or The Rockingham at The Curragh."
