Morning and Ruby's Run continues It's two from two now for Ruby Walsh since his return, as his mount in the opening Follow Tipperary Races On Facebook Mares Maiden Hurdle, Morning Run, also maintained a flawless record. The three-time bumper winning daughter of King's Theatre got off the mark at the first time of asking over flights with the minimum of fuss. Priced up at 4/9, the winner got the first hurdle wrong and she was probably a bit keen in Walsh's hands. Louise Royale threatened in the straight but Morning Run asserted from before the last to come out on top by three and a quarter lengths. Patrick Mullins represented his father, Willie, the winning trainer, and he said: "It's great to get that out of the way. It was great experience for her to settle in behind and she would have learned a lot. "They went a right good gallop and it was no cakewalk for her. "Ruby said that she jumped well apart from the first. "She has done nothing to suggest that she isn't as good as we think she is. "We might go for the graded mares novice hurdle at Down Royal with her now. She's won up there before as well." (TW & EM)
