Our Monty turned the Paddypower.com Cork Grand National into a procession with an impressive display.
David Casey only had one anxious moment six from home when a mistake had him unbalanced for a stride.
It was plain sailing after that and the Willie Mullins-trained gelding took it up two from home and cruised clear before the last to win by five-and-a-half lengths without breaking sweat.
"That was impressive. I couldn't believe how easy it was for him," said stable representative Gary Davies.
"For a small horse the ground was obviously a worry but he was on the bridle throughout and won as he liked for David.
"He was off a nice weight and it helped having a bit of weight off his back."
