There was support on course for My Lark at Dundalk in the first division of the mile handicap and she stayed on strongly inside the final furlong to open her account.

The Liz Doyle-trained filly had initially eased out to 20/1 this morning but was eventually returned a 7/1 shot on track.

Alan Persse drove his mount up on the inner to challenge a furlong from home and she hit the front inside the final furlong.

The daughter of Choisir kept on well in the closing stages to record a length victory. Darvie just edged the runner-up spot by a short-head from Three Majors

My Lark had been third on her handicap debut over six here last month but was well held on soft ground at Listowel last time.
