Mick Winters was one of the men in form at Tipperary as the County Cork handler saddled a double through Jansboy and Moon Prince to follow up the resounding success of Rebel Fitz at the track on Saturday.
Pierce Gallagher sent Jansboy into the lead approaching the straight in the Join The Tipperary Supporters Club 2014 Maiden Hurdle and the 11-4 favourite ran on strongly to beat Do Na Paisti by four lengths.
Moon Prince, getting into the Tipperary Races On Twitter Handicap Hurdle as second reserve, crept into the contest under Bryan Cooper and then had to pull out the stops to defeat Back To Drumdeel by a short head in a rousing finish.
It was a particularly fine performance from the 7-2 favourite, who was winning for the first time under Rules at the age of 11 having returned from three years off the track to finish third at Ballinrobe last month.
Cooper went on to a brace with a fine ride on Arthur Goulding's 13-8 favourite Sox's Girl in the Schooling At Tipperary Beginners Chase, getting away from the last quickest and overhauling Ashbury to score by three lengths for her first win in 30 attempts.
Willie Mullins was another to land a double, beginning when ex-French newcomer Arctic Fire (13-8 favourite) impressed as he ran away with the Follow Tipperary Races On Facebook Maiden Hurdle.
Ruby Walsh travelled sweetly up to the lead on the four-year-old and allowed him to stride clear between the final two flights as he beat his experienced market rival Enchanted Forest by six lengths.
Walsh was also in the saddle when smart hurdler Darroun (7-4 favourite) put a poor start to his fencing career behind him with a 20-length victory in the www.tipperaryraces.ie Beginners Chase after taking the lead on the bend into the straight.
Paul Townend led all the way on Philip Rothwell's 5-1 shot Decade Player to win the Tipperary Handicap Chase by a cosy six lengths.
