Pat Smullen edged 5 clear of John Murtagh in the jockeys title race after partnering Liffeydale to a comfortable win in the 12f handicap at the sunny north-western venue.

The Willie Bourke-trained mare made all, and quickened clear off the home turn to beat Moyne Motors by 4L, providing Smullen with his 56th winner of the campaign.
